The Medieval Association of the Legend of Saint George presented the 39th Montblanc Medieval Week in Vic, scheduled to take place from April 17 to 26.

This year's edition marks the return of horse jousting in the show Justa i Honor and the revival of giant chess after 25 years. The presentation in Vic aims to promote the festival beyond the Conca de Barberà region, turning Montblanc's historic center into a massive medieval stage.
Key highlights include the Legend of Saint George performance involving 250 actors and the Dracum Nocte night show. Journalist Maria Xinxó will kick off the festivities on April 17 with the traditional delivery of the first rose of the year.
The event will also feature the Colloquia Draconis lectures and will conclude with a reenactment of the Catalan Courts of 1414. Tickets for major shows are already being released progressively.
