Union representatives met with political leaders in Tarragona to discuss the labor conflict, which threatens 200 jobs in the region. The workers' committee expressed frustration over the lack of progress during technical discussions with the company's management, leading to a continuation of the ongoing strike.
“"Neither forward nor backward, the positions are very neutral."
The workforce is now looking to the Generalitat de Catalunya for support. A meeting is scheduled for Thursday to request government assistance in finding a new owner for the facilities, aiming to preserve the industrial capacity of the Conca de Barberà and Alt Camp areas.
