The town of Pira celebrated the Summer Solstice Festival on Saturday, a day that welcomed the summer with a wide range of cultural and gastronomic activities in the Church Square.

The Church Square in Pira was the main venue for the Summer Solstice Festival, a celebration that brought together residents and visitors from the region to welcome the summer season with a festive street atmosphere.
The program kicked off in the early afternoon with a children's show titled “Espectacle Maco perquè sí” (A Cool Show Just Because), by Els Picarols, designed for families. Later, the Xaranga Estrella Band livened up the old town with a rhythm-filled musical repertoire.
As night fell, the party continued with performances by the cover band MR Jones, who played hits to get the audience dancing, and DJ Kylans, who kept the festive mood going until the early hours.
The gastronomic offering was another highlight of the celebration, featuring wineries such as Cellers Carles Andreu, Celler Succés Vinícola, and Cellers Domenys. Craft beers from Boixets and various local food options were also available.
