The day, organized by the Rocafort de Queralt City Council with the support of the Memorial Democràtic, served to dignify the memory of the victims and reinforce the municipality's commitment to democratic history.
The central moment of the tribute was the installation of two Stolpersteine stones in the public space. These pieces, known as memory stones, have been integrated into the urban landscape to ensure the memory of the deported residents is not forgotten.
The event began at the Local Cultural center, where municipal representatives, residents, and family members gathered in an atmosphere of reparation and remembrance. The initiative seeks to pass on the memory of these events to future generations, maintaining the bond between the victims and their hometown.
