A windstorm caused several incidents this Thursday in Montblanc, leading to fallen trees on public roads and the interruption of both rail and local road services.

Train services on the R13 and R14 lines were suspended between Montblanc and Vilaverd stations. The disruption occurred after a tree fell onto the tracks, forcing the implementation of an alternative bus service for passengers.
Within the town, emergency services responded to fallen trees at Rambla dels Gegants and near the Sant Josep hermitage. No personal injuries were reported, although municipal crews had to act quickly to clear the debris.
Additionally, the road to l'Espluga de Francolí was closed as a precaution due to streetlights at risk of falling. Civil Protection has urged citizens to exercise maximum caution and stay away from trees and unstable structures.
