The Vilaverd City Council is planning to invest over 600,000 euros to fully rehabilitate the historic Sindicat building, a key project included in the 2026 municipal budget.

Supported by 415.000 euros from the PUOSC fund, the project aims to stabilize the structure and install an elevator in the building, which has been closed since the early 2000s. Once finished, it will host community rooms and expanded municipal offices.
Additionally, the town in Conca de Barberà will upgrade its public swimming pools and modernize the water network. This includes a 350,000 euro project to replace water meters and old pipes, funded by the Catalan Water Agency (ACA).
