Vimbodí i Poblet brings back Carnival festivities with a massive parade

After several years, the town celebrates the return of Carnival with costumes, music, and a community dinner.

The town of Vimbodí i Poblet celebrated the return of Carnival this Saturday, February 28th, reviving a tradition that had been absent for several years.

The festivities began at 6:00 PM with a gathering of groups at Raval de Montblanc. Participants of all ages showcased creative costumes before starting the parade through the local streets.
The parade started at 6:30 PM, featuring music and dancing. By 8:00 PM, the procession reached the sports hall, which became the main venue for the evening's celebrations.
The night program included a community dinner with traditional music, followed by the Millenium orchestra and sets by DJ Jordi END, DJ Laro, and Yxor.
