The town of L'Espluga de Francolí hosted a vibrant Sant Jordi celebration last Thursday, transforming Lluís Carulla street into a meeting point for literature enthusiasts and Catalan traditions.

Throughout the day, visitors could explore various stalls offering a wide selection of roses and books, from the latest editorial releases to classics of Catalan and international literature.
From 5:30 PM, the atmosphere was filled with laughter from giant wooden games and craft workshops, animated by the Juga i Aprèn organization. Concurrently, the Unió de Botiguers sweetened the afternoon with coca and chocolate for all attendees.
The day culminated at 6:30 PM with the literary and musical show titled L'arbre de les papallones. This performance, by a trio of artists, captivated the audience with short stories full of humor, tenderness, and live musical accompaniment, offering a memorable cultural experience for all present.
