The new entity, which was introduced in the Conca de Barberà, aims to act as an umbrella for all existing initiatives related to the diversity of the Catalan language, while also launching its own projects. The main goal is to lobby for the normalization and appreciation of dialectal varieties.

Among the initiatives the association will promote is the eponymous festival, which this year will hold its edition in the city of Tortosa, in the Baix Ebre. The event will take place from October 23 to 25 at the renovated Teatre Auditori Felip Pedrell, focusing on the linguistic richness of the territory.
