Student Pablo Cardeñas Mendoza, from the Martí l'Humà Institute in Montblanc, represented Catalonia at the SpainSkills national championship, held in Madrid from February 24 to 28.

The young student from Montblanc competed in the Renewable Energy category (Skill 62) after winning the regional title. During the event, Cardeñas demonstrated his technical skills against the top Vocational Training students from across the country.
Supported by his tutor Jordi Alberich, the student from Conca de Barberà achieved a commendable fifth-place finish. The competition involved rigorous testing on photovoltaic installations, energy storage systems, and equipment configuration.
The Montblanc educational center also played a key role through professor David Calabria Pérez, who served as the expert coordinator for the Renewable Energy skill, overseeing the technical design and evaluation criteria of the national contest.
