The new music cycle Fusta&Plàstic will start this Saturday, February 7, 2026, with an event promising a night of intense rhythms at the Old Santa Magdalena Hospital in Montblanc. The event will feature the presence of the John Kennedy Duo and the Beast Selectors.

John Kennedy, the renowned Australian singer-songwriter, is one of the most representative names in independent music from that region. His style merges elements of rock, pop, folk, and country. Accompanied by the Barcelona guitarist Paco Peñaranda, Kennedy will bring his unique repertoire to Catalonia with an intimate proposal. After traveling through Berlin and London, Kennedy has settled in Catalonia, where he is also working on a new project with the band John Kennedy y Los Nuevos Originales. Fans can enjoy songs like King Street or Miracle (in Marrickville).

Serving as opening acts and responsible for livening up the evening before and after the main performance are the Beast Selectors, the DJs from the Mr.BeasT Music Association. With an eclectic musical style ranging from independent rock to black music, including soul, funk, and electronic, the Beast Selectors promise a musical journey full of energy.
