The municipality of Pira (Conca de Barberà) will host the third edition of the Cursa de la Dona (Women's Race) on March 8, a 5 km solidarity event organized by AEE ZER Conca and the local City Council.

The Cursa de la Dona has established itself as a key event in the Conca de Barberà region, aiming to promote sport, solidarity, and the commemoration of International Women's Day. The organization, led by AEE ZER Conca and Pira City Council, expects to repeat the high participation success of previous editions.
To ensure a personalized and participatory atmosphere, places for the race are limited to 150 participants, a quota that quickly sold out in past years. This limitation reaffirms the municipality's commitment to the community and gender equality.
The route will cover 5 km, starting and finishing at Plaça 1 d'Octubre. The day begins at 9:00 a.m. with bib collection. Before the race, at 10:00 a.m., a zumba warm-up open to everyone will be held, led by Totaldance.
Registration costs 10 € and includes a bib, commemorative t-shirt, and various gifts. The entire proceeds will be donated to the Associació Heroïnes Anònimes, strengthening the event's charitable mission.
As a novelty this year, after the race concludes and prizes are awarded, attendees can enjoy a musical vermouth and gift raffles, closing the day with a festive atmosphere.
