The exhibition was conceived as an open workshop held at the studio of artist Núria Rion, which also serves as the headquarters for the Associació La Baridana, an Artistic Action Collective. This format allowed visitors to see not only the final results but also the creative process and engage in conversation with the artists.
The works on paper showcased a variety of printing techniques, including woodcut (xilografia), linocut (linogravat), monotype, drypoint, chine collé, and screen printing (serigrafia), offering an eclectic view of contemporary graphic art from the region.
The exhibition stood out for the diversity of engraving and printing techniques, resulting from hours of shared work among the artists of the region.
The inauguration took place on Saturday midday, in a relaxed atmosphere enhanced by the music played by Ghillem The la Vall, a native of Sarral. Fifteen artists participated, many of whom had created their works in recent months through collaborative work sessions.
Participating artists included Mercè Bofill, Elena Cartaña, Laura Casas, Olga Delgado, Joan Esteve, Sílvia Iturria, Carlos Lasierra, Laura Magrinyà, Lluci M. Marçal, Lluís Montalà, Rosa M. Piqué, Ester Ramón, Núria Rion, Raul Romero, and Mar Aluja. The show lasted until Monday, the day of the Sarral Fair, and included a printing workshop primarily aimed at children.
The realization of the exhibition received institutional support from the Sarral City Council (Ajuntament de Sarral) and the Fundació Martí l’Humà.
