The Cubelles City Council has joined the humanitarian aid collection campaign for Ukraine, organized by the International Solidarity Convoy with Ukraine, to support the civilian population affected by the war, especially with winter approaching.

The initiative, promoted by the European Network of Solidarity with Ukraine and various European social and trade union organizations, aims to cover the basic needs of the most vulnerable population during the cold months, following Russian attacks on energy infrastructure, water supply networks, hospitals, and housing.
Material collection will take place from October 30 to November 13, inclusive, from Monday to Friday, between 9 AM and 2 PM, and 4 PM to 7:30 PM, at the Espai Jove de Cubelles (carrer de Josep Mestres, 29).
Priority is given to donations of external power banks (10,000-20,000 mAh) and charging cables, rechargeable LED lights and lanterns, thermos flasks of approximately one liter, thermal clothing, thick socks, woolen hats, and gloves, with indicated sizes. Also requested are blankets, bedding, towels, adult and baby diapers (sizes 3-6), personal hygiene products, and laundry detergent. Items for window insulation and long-life food products are also accepted upon prior consultation.
All products must be new and, where applicable, unopened. Food items must be correctly labeled and have sufficient shelf life before their expiration date. For inquiries, please write to integracioeuropea@cubelles.cat.
In parallel, the International Solidarity Convoy with Ukraine is also collecting cars and vans in good working condition for transporting people and supplies to areas with difficult access. Those wishing to donate a vehicle they no longer use can contact the organization directly via email at welcome@intsolconuk.com.
