Cubelles' Christmas Fair will return this year with a renewed format aiming to evoke traditional Christmas markets. The inclusion of Christmas stalls and an offering focused on crafts, local products, and family activities will be the main attractions of the event, which will take place on December 18th, 19th, and 20th.
Registration for associations, entities, businesses, and stallholders wishing to participate in the fair will open next Monday, October 19th. The City Council aims to boost the local economy and attract visitors during the Christmas season.
Councillor for European Integration, Pau Rodríguez, highlighted the intention to create a fair that is "bigger and more attractive," with decorations inspired by European markets and a varied commercial offering. "We want to revive a fair designed for families to stroll, enjoy the Christmas atmosphere, participate in activities, and find special products for these dates," he stated.
For her part, Councillor for Economic Promotion, Núria Planas, emphasized the fair's importance as a "tool for economic revitalization and tourism promotion," giving visibility to local commerce, artisans, and local producers.
The fair will also feature a space dedicated to women artisans, continuing the initiative from the first Fair of Artisans and Artists held on October 10th.
The registration period for the Cubelles Christmas Fair 2026 will begin on Monday, October 19th. Associations, entities, educational centers, and businesses from Cubelles, as well as stallholders from other municipalities, can submit applications. Participation will be free, although the allocation of places will prioritize proposals that align with the Christmas theme and the fair's objectives.
