The town of Sitges celebrated the Rua de l'Extermini this Tuesday, characterized by a faster pace than previous years and exceptional weather reaching 20 degrees Celsius.

The forty floats from local organizations moved through the streets with notable agility. The parade took just over two hours to travel from Avinguda Sofia to Cap de la Vila, maintaining a steady flow despite the large crowds gathered along the route.
The Children's Parade held at noon also benefited from the sunny weather, allowing families to enjoy the event in short sleeves at the Ribera area. Organizers highlighted that the children's event was completed in record time, lasting only one hour from start to finish.
The Carnival Commission reported high satisfaction with the overall program, citing high participation and a lack of significant incidents. The festivities conclude today with the burial of King Carnestoltes and traditional local dinners.
