Commuters and local mayors have voiced serious doubts regarding the Alternative Transport Plan (PAT) prepared by Renfe for the upcoming maintenance works in the Garraf tunnels.

The Dignitat a les Vies platform argues that the planned transfers at Sant Vicenç de Calders and El Prat, timed between two and four minutes, are unrealistic. The works, which affect regional lines from Tarragona and the R2 Sud, are expected to last until June.
Mayors from Vilanova i la Geltrú and Sitges have called for more direct bus routes and criticized the refusal to waive tolls on the C-32 highway. Meanwhile, towns like Torredembarra have independently secured direct bus services to Barcelona to mitigate the impact.
