The National Police have arrested in Sitges one of the most wanted individuals by Swedish authorities. The detainee is allegedly involved in about twenty extreme violence offenses committed during 2024, including several murders.
The investigation, which began in June 2025 as part of the European network ENFAST, led to the fugitive's location after months of cooperation between Spanish and Swedish authorities.
Investigators accuse him of participating in attacks with war weapons, firearms, and explosives. He is also alleged to have trained young recruits to carry out murders and other violent actions.
Officers maintained surveillance on the suspect's residence. Given the risk of weapons or explosives being present, a European Investigation Order was obtained to search the property and make the arrest.
