The self-managed festival El Tingladu, organized by the entity Can Pistraus, returns for its 18th edition from July 23-25, 2026. The event, held at Torre d’Enveja, combines established Catalan scene artists with emerging acts, upholding its social commitment and free pricing model.
Founded in 2008, El Tingladu is a non-profit initiative sustained by the collaboration of over 300 volunteers and the support of the City Council. This community-driven organizational model covers everything from bars to stage logistics.
The 2026 lineup includes names such as Els Pets, Nacho Vegas, La Fúmiga, Maria del Mar Bonet, Clara Peya, Talco, Crim, as well as emerging artists like Svetlana, Fetus, Süne, and La Rauxa.
Since 2022, the festival has implemented a free pricing system where attendees choose how much to pay for their ticket, ensuring accessibility. Tickets can be purchased through the official website.
A portion of the proceeds goes to social causes. For the 2026 edition, one euro per ticket sold will support Catalan communication projects. In previous years, over 13,000 euros were donated to language promotion entities, and more than 43,000 euros to the legal defense of politically charged individuals.
The festival is known for its intimate and intergenerational atmosphere, distinct from large-scale festivals. The programming is entirely in Catalan. The city of Vilanova i la Geltrú will be lively during these dates, coinciding with the local Festa Major and the Llum de Mar summer market, so booking accommodation in advance is recommended.
