Renfe and Adif are set to begin essential maintenance on the Garraf Tunnels next Monday, March 16th, triggering a major alternative transport plan for thousands of commuters.

The project is expected to last three months, affecting approximately 30,000 daily travelers. Between Sitges and Garraf, trains will run on a single track, reducing the R2 South line frequency to just two trains per hour in each direction.
El Prat de Llobregat will serve as a key transport hub, connecting Regional passengers to bus shuttles heading to Sant Vicenç de Calders. These road transfers are estimated to take 45 minutes, significantly increasing total travel times to Barcelona.
