Train traffic between Vilanova i la Geltrú and Sitges is experiencing 45-minute delays this Tuesday morning following an incident on the tracks.

The event has disrupted service on Rodalies lines R13, R14, R15, R16, and R17. Consequently, the R2 South line is operating with a reduced frequency of two trains per hour in each direction between Sant Vicenç de Calders and Estació de França, stopping at all intermediate stations.
This situation follows an earlier infrastructure failure detected at the Cunit station during the early hours of the day. That incident, which has already been resolved, had caused delays of approximately 20 minutes on several regional lines.
After the failure at Cunit was resolved, rail traffic was gradually recovering until the new incident further impacted mobility, increasing wait times for passengers.
