Registrations will be open until September 12th. Children aged 5 and over who wish to accompany the giants, 'cabeçuts' (big-heads), and 'bestiari' (mythical creatures) without firecrackers are welcome to participate. Carriers aged between 10 and 16 of fire 'bestiari' with children's firecrackers are also accepted, provided they have completed the Recognized Consumer Expert (CRE) course in previous years.
Drummers aged between 8 and 16 can also register starting today. For those who do not yet have the CRE certificate, a training session will be held on September 4th at 6:30 PM at the Miramar Centre Cultural. This certificate is an essential requirement to become a carrier of fire 'bestiari' with children's firecrackers.
The CRE course, conducted by the Associació de Bèsties Infantils de Sitges, provides the necessary training for safe fire handling. Registration forms are available on the website sitgesfestamajor.cat. Minors must be accompanied by a guardian, and the minors' ID cards must be presented.
