The Secretary General of Junts per Catalunya, Jordi Turull, reaffirmed this Saturday in Vilanova i la Geltrú his party's rejection of the investment consortium proposed by Esquerra Republicana.

During the party's national council in the Garraf region, Turull demanded that the Spanish State pay its outstanding debts to the Generalitat directly. He argued against creating new mixed agencies or organizations, stating they only serve to obscure political responsibility and leadership.

"Enough of creating more organizations and mixed companies like this consortium, which only serve to confuse further."

Turull also criticized President Salvador Illa, claiming his administration is entirely subordinated to the PSOE. According to the Junts leader, the current Catalan Government lacks a national soul and fails to stand up to Madrid on critical issues.
Regarding the ongoing Rodalies train network crisis, the party insisted on the resignation of the Minister of Territory, Sílvia Paneque. Turull suggested that the government should terminate the contract with Renfe to stop its operations in Catalonia due to persistent management failures.
