This Monday marked the start of railway disruptions in the Garraf tunnels, an Adif maintenance project that limits traffic to a single track and requires replacement buses.

The first day of restrictions on the R2 Sud and Regional lines saw a mix of resignation and complaints regarding planning. Sant Vicenç de Calders station became the main hub for passengers transferring to buses.

"Buses are operating more or less within the expected travel times."

While Renfe reported relative normality, the Dignitat a les Vies platform criticized the lack of communication. In Sitges, Mayor Aurora Carbonell called for more bus services and the suspension of the Vallcarca toll.
