The Olivella Town Hall has improved its compliance with municipal transparency indicators by 17.97 percentage points, rising from 51.75% to 69.72% in the last six months, according to the latest monitoring report from the Barcelona Provincial Council.

These results are the outcome of six months of work to implement the recommendations from the Provincial Council, which earlier this year analyzed the municipal transparency portal and established an action plan.
The most significant improvement is seen in 47 out of 102 reviewed sections. Additionally, 16 new sections have been activated and 55 portal entries have been updated since the initial diagnosis. The analysis covers various aspects of municipal management, including organization, economic management, contracts, services, and citizen participation.
The Barcelona Provincial Council positively assesses the progress and highlights the implementation of a substantial part of the recommendations.
Despite the advancements, the report indicates that 43 indicators still do not meet transparency requirements, and 22 meet them only partially. Pending issues include the need to update information, activate remaining sections, and consolidate internal procedures to keep the portal current.
The Town Hall will continue working to enhance transparency and facilitate access to municipal information.
