The Guardia Urbana investigated a minor driving a car without a license on Avinguda de Vilanova, in the El Gornal neighborhood of L'Hospitalet, on the afternoon of Sunday, December 28.

A district patrol of the Guardia Urbana detected the vehicle around five in the afternoon. After stopping the car, officers confirmed that the driver was underage and, obviously, did not have the required driving license.
This action is considered a crime against road safety. For this reason, the minor was investigated for driving without a license, while his father, who was accompanying him and owned the vehicle, was also investigated.

The penalty for the father, investigated as a necessary cooperator, can exceed 2,000 euros, with the risk of 180 days of arrest in case of non-payment.

The father faces charges as a necessary cooperator for allowing this illicit conduct. The financial penalty falls upon the minor's legal guardians and, in the case of the accompanying adult, can exceed 2,000 euros.
The police report indicates that, should the father be unable or unwilling to pay the fine, he risks a substitute sentence of 180 days of arrest.
