On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, the Sala l’Abadia d’Arbeca will host on Thursday, October 15th, at 6:30 PM, the talk "Let's talk about emotional well-being: self-care as the basis of mental health". The session will be led by Thelma Hernando Mallien, a General Health Psychologist and Referent for Emotional and Community Well-being at EAP Les Borges Blanques.
The Biblioteca l’Atlàntida d’Arbeca will be closed on Monday, October 12th. Additionally, on Tuesday, October 20th, the library will host a "Manga Drawing" workshop for children aged 6 to 13, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Pre-registration is required.
The design contest for the Arbeca Fair 2026 poster has been launched, open to individuals over 12 years old. Submissions can be made at the Citizen Attention Office, the L’Atlàntida Library, or via email until October 16th. The winning entry will be the official poster and will receive prizes worth €400, plus a double cinema ticket for the first 10 valid submissions.
The Arbeca Football Club has launched a new vintage jersey for its members, with orders open until October 14th. Meanwhile, the league match against Bellpuig will be played TODAY at 9:00 PM at the Estadi Ramon Bellmunt.
Unió de Pagesos (Farmers' Union) is calling for a demonstration in Barcelona on October 14th to protest against rising costs, low prices, and unfair competition. The day will include gatherings in front of the Central Government Delegation and the Department of Agriculture.
Participants from Les Garrigues and Pla d’Urgell are sought for pilot action creation workshops within the LIFE eCOadapt50 project. The Les Garrigues workshop will take place on October 23rd in Castelldans (Mas de Melons), and the Pla d’Urgell workshop on November 6th in Bellvís (Sala 1 d’octubre).
