An agreement has been signed between the Generalitat, the Diputació de Lleida, and local councils to mobilize a total investment of 18.4 million euros (13.75 million from the Generalitat and 4.65 million from the Diputació) to improve the road network in nine municipalities within Les Garrigues. With the approval of the Zonal Plan, the Diputació de Lleida will expand its road network by almost 20%, exceeding 1,000 kilometers. Additionally, an extraordinary Paths Plan of 5 million euros has been approved to address urgent municipal needs.
