The town of Juneda is preparing to host the 48th 'Cassoles de Tros' Competition, a gastronomic event honoring traditional recipes cooked in clay pots over a wood fire.

This 48th edition of the gastronomic competition in Juneda, taking place at the Salt Desfet site, expects to bring together both teams and individual participants. The aim is to keep alive the tradition of cooking dishes in clay pots over a wood fire, strictly following ancestral recipes.
This gastronomic event is held alongside other cultural activities in the region. In Rialp, in Pallars Sobirà, the Fira d’Oficis i Menestrals (Fair of Trades and Crafts) will take place, a festival dedicated to the revival of traditional trades, craftsmanship, and cultural heritage, featuring workshops, conferences, and demonstrations until 7:30 PM.
Meanwhile, Les Borges Blanques will host a day dedicated to local wine and gastronomy at the plaça de la Capella. From 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, attendees can sample wines from regional wineries and local products, accompanied by music, with a children's workshop scheduled for 1:00 PM. Wineries such as Clos Pons, Celler Cérvoles, Mas Blanch i Jové, Matallonga, Tomàs Cusiné, Els Vilars, and Purgatori will participate.
