The homes, located at number four on the Font street in Les Borges Blanques, never obtained occupancy certificates and were boarded up after suffering internal looting. Property Buyers advertises them as an “investment” opportunity for “living or renting.”
The building is located just fifty meters from another controversial block on Santiago Rusiñol street, which was also declared uninhabitable by the council in 2025 and subsequently evicted last December.
The Les Borges Blanques City Council is currently reviewing the work communication submitted by the promoter of the Font street block to begin its rehabilitation.
In parallel, the company owning the Santiago Rusiñol block, the real estate agency Janus Business SL, has also initiated procedures with the City Council to obtain the necessary building license to rehabilitate the evicted property.
