The town councils of Sant Joan les Fonts and La Vall de Bianya will hold a tribute to Mossèn Miquel Vall·llosera on Friday, September 18th, in La Canya, coinciding with his retirement from active service.

The church of Sant Josep Obrer in La Canya will be the venue for the public tribute. This recognition aims to highlight Mossèn Vall·llosera's dedication, emphasizing his closeness and commitment to community development and spiritual support over the years.
Born in 1940 and ordained a priest in 1965, Mossèn Miquel Vall·llosera has devoted over six decades to his priestly vocation. Since 2003, he has led various parishes and communities in the area, including Begudà, Capsec, Castellfollit de la Roca, La Canya, La Vall del Bac, Sant Joan les Fonts, Sant Martí del Clot, Sant Pere Despuig, Sant Salvador de Bianya, and Santa Margarida de Bianya.
The organizing town councils invite all residents to participate in this gesture of appreciation for the priest as he steps down from active ministry in the region.
