The change to a one-way street on Jaume I in Vic has led to increased traffic chaos, according to residents' perceptions.

Residents of Jaume I street in Vic indicate that the decision to make the road one-way has intensified traffic congestion, particularly during mornings and afternoons. This situation causes all vehicles to drop off passengers and proceed onto Manlleu road, overwhelming this thoroughfare.
As a proposed improvement, residents suggest maintaining the one-way system on the entire Jaume I street, while allowing exclusive access for residents to the parking lot in the final section of the road. This measure aims to alleviate general traffic congestion.
The Vic City Council has noted these opinions and perceptions, which will be included in the pilot study. The local administration also believes that the ongoing gas company works in Plaça Mil·lenari are not helping to improve traffic flow, as they also involve the reduction of a lane.
