The new infrastructure, a four-legged spider model, will provide a covered and quickly deployable space. It will be available for preventive operations, emergencies, sports activities, and popular events requiring the presence of volunteers.
The total investment for the tent acquisition amounted to 3,563.45 euros. Of this sum, 3,000 euros were funded by the Provincial Council of Girona through a grant for essential material for civil protection volunteer associations. The remaining amount was covered by the City Council.
With this acquisition, the council reaffirms its commitment to citizen safety and support for the essential work of Civil Protection volunteers, equipping them with better resources for effective public service.
