The town of Mieres will host the 40th edition of the Exchange Fair next Sunday, November 8th, an event celebrating four decades of promoting community relations and sustainability through the exchange of goods and services.

This event, recognized as the oldest fair of its kind in Catalonia, invites attendees to make money disappear for a day, fostering an experience of reunion and collective dreaming towards a kinder and more sustainable way of life. The fair aims to be a space of peace and dignity for all.
The organization has highlighted the importance of following the recommendations in the event's leaflet, which include tips for a peaceful and collaborative fair. An appeal is made for active participation to make this edition a success.
As is tradition, the Stone Soup will be held, for which attendees are asked to bring ingredients before noon to the counter located in the Town Hall parking lot. Additionally, participants are encouraged to bring photographs from previous fairs for a commemorative exhibition.
The La Fulla Cultural Association receives special thanks for its 40 years of organization, as do all the people who make the fair possible year after year. The 40th edition promises to be a highlight of this tradition.
