Under the slogan "It's not about watching, it's about living it," the Girona club aims to enhance the atmosphere at Fontajau. Club CEO Stefi Batlle presented the campaign, emphasizing the desire to enrich the fan experience at the arena. The season begins at a crucial juncture, with uncertainty surrounding the men's first team's European participation and the consolidation of the women's project following the merger with Uni.
Men's team season tickets include all 17 regular season Liga Endesa games and, if confirmed, the initial phase of the FIBA Europe Cup at Fontajau. Prices range from 190 euros for the family package to 485 euros for the central lower tier. The club has clarified that these tickets do not cover potential ACB play-off rounds or other European commitments that may require separate arrangements.
European participation is not yet official, but the club is working towards the FIBA Europe Cup as the most likely scenario. Batlle stated, "We have always said we will be where we deserve to be sportingly," and believes this competition aligns better with the club's current ambitions than the Eurocup. The CEO also highlighted the symbolic significance of returning to a FIBA competition, coinciding with the twentieth anniversary of the FIBA Cup title won by the former Akasvayu Girona.
For the women's team, season tickets range from 130 to 190 euros and include all 15 Liga Femenina Endesa regular season games, play-offs, and any European competition matches held at Fontajau. The club anticipates continued growth in its fanbase following a historic season that included participation in the European Final Six.
The season ticket campaign, which includes options for seat changes and new applications starting July 9th, foresees a "slight increase" in prices to ensure the club's financial sustainability. Batlle defends this measure as essential for growth and confirmed that the club is actively pursuing sponsorship opportunities, including the potential for a main or naming sponsor for the men's team.
The CEO expressed satisfaction with the first year of the merger with Uni Girona, noting the mutual learning experience regarding the operations of both leagues. The club remains committed to development and is preparing for a season that could feature double European representation. Regarding Fontajau, further growth in season ticket holders is expected with the new stand, and improvements to lighting by the City Council are anticipated. Internal changes are also planned for the club's offices, while the pavilion's concession is nearing completion.
