Bàsquet Girona achieved their eleventh victory of the season this March 15, defeating Morabanc Andorra 82-75 in a match repeatedly interrupted by lighting failures at Fontajau.

Led by Otis Livingston and Geben, the home side dominated the first half. Despite a late surge from Morabanc Andorra, who reduced a 23-point deficit to just five in the final minutes, Moncho Fernández's squad held on to secure the win.
The game was overshadowed by three partial blackouts that sparked anger among the fans. Supporters displayed banners demanding better facilities from Mayor Lluc Salellas. The removal of these banners by the Mossos d'Esquadra led to a tense situation where club president Marc Gasol had to intervene to calm the crowd.

"The incident is partly due to power cuts caused by the wind; the City Council is finalizing the purchase of an uninterruptible power supply system."

Following the events, Bàsquet Girona issued a statement calling for structural solutions to the recurring technical issues at the Fontajau municipal arena.
