The town of Bescanó celebrated its 29th Gastronomic Sausage Fair this Sunday, attracting a large number of visitors to the Old Quarter and Lluís Vigué Park despite afternoon showers.

The morning session saw a steady flow of attendees enjoying artisanal food stalls and cultural exhibitions, such as the Bescanó Emerging Contemporary Art Exhibition (MACEB) held at Sant Llorenç church. Local producers reported strong sales figures during the peak hours of the event.

"This year we had more sales than in other editions, even though the feeling of attendance was similar."

Activities included woodcarving workshops, traditional card games, and a Catalan Scrabble tournament. Although rain started at 4:30 PM, leading to the cancellation of the sardana dance performance, the fair maintained its vibrant atmosphere until the end of the day.
