The Cassà de la Selva Town Council has launched a special program for March 8th focused on highlighting the professional careers of local women that have often been overlooked.

The main event features the exhibition La meva feina també és història, opening on March 7th at the Sala Galà cultural center. It showcases testimonies from women over 60, linking their work experiences to the town's historical memory.
Renowned chef Carme Ruscalleda will be the guest star at the 3rd Meeting of Businesswomen and Entrepreneurs. Additionally, Dr. Pilar Monreal from the University of Girona will lead a discussion on how gender affects the aging process.

"International Women's Day is an opportunity to recognize the strength, talent, and perseverance of the women of Cassà."

Ester Ayala · City Councilor for Equality
The celebrations will conclude on March 15th with the Women's March, a circular sports route around the municipality starting from the local train station park.
