The supermarket chain Condis presented today in Girona a solidarity rounding campaign that, from February 23 to April 12, will raise funds for the Santa Caterina Hospital.

The company will allocate the funds raised to improve the equipment in the birthing area and the maternity zone of the hospital. The project focuses on adapting healthcare spaces to foster an atmosphere of privacy and calm, enhancing emotional comfort during childbirth and postpartum for about 1,000 families annually.
Key planned actions include modernizing lighting systems to create a warmer environment and installing personalized background music. Additionally, existing materials will be supplemented to encourage movement for women during labor, also improving the working environment for medical staff.
The solidarity rounding, managed through Worldcoo, allows customers to donate the remaining cents from their purchase when paying by card or mobile. In the Girona region, the campaign will be active in municipalities such as Girona, Figueres, Blanes, Olot, Banyoles, and la Bisbal d'Empordà.
Santa Caterina Hospital is one of eight centers selected by Condis for its 2026 solidarity campaign, which focuses on health this year. This initiative seeks to humanize hospital spaces and place emotional health at the core of medical care.
