Finding parking in Girona during the Temps de Flors celebration can be a challenge, especially on weekends when public attendance is higher. For those coming by private vehicle, it is recommended to arrive early in the morning to secure a spot, as availability significantly decreases by midday.
The city has several free parking areas totaling around 4,000 spaces. Those closest to the center include the parking lot next to the Pedret roundabout, with about 500 spaces, and the area known as La Copa, between José Canalejas promenade and Berenguer Carnisser street, offering about 200 spaces. These options are ideal due to their proximity to the Sant Feliu church, one of the key points of the floral exhibition.
Other alternatives near the center include the Devesa promenade, with 200 spaces, and areas near the Fontajau pavilion, which offers about 600 spaces, and the parking lot at the Taialà roundabout, with 180 spots. There are also three parking areas next to the Ocine cinemas, with a total of over 700 spaces, including those in front of the cinemas, next to the supermarkets, and in front of the König restaurant.
For those who don't mind walking a bit further, options include the area behind the Maristes (150 spaces), the parking lot next to Migdia park (400 spaces), around the CAP de Montilivi (80 spaces), and in front of the Guardia Civil (130 spaces). In the Sant Narcís neighborhood, there is parking behind the Tax Agency (75 spaces) and another under the train tracks on Gironella street (100 spaces).
Further from the center, but with large capacity, are the gravel parking lot next to the Palau Pavilion (200 vehicles) and the areas near the Montilivi stadium and the UdG campus, which together add up to over 500 spaces. In addition to the free zones, the city has paid rotation parking lots, such as the one at Hospital Josep Trueta and others with subscription and rotation options distributed throughout different points of the city.
