Three individuals, two men and one woman, have been arrested by police in Girona for multiple perfume thefts, with a total value of stolen goods amounting to 4,262 euros.

The Mossos d'Esquadra and the Girona Municipal Police have arrested three people, aged between 30 and 48, for their alleged involvement in multiple perfume thefts from city stores. The suspects were apprehended on two separate occasions within two days and have prior records for similar offenses.
The incidents occurred on August 17th and 18th. The first arrest took place on the evening of the 17th when plainclothes Mossos officers observed a man and a woman concealing items under their clothing and inside a cardboard box. Upon interception, it was discovered they were carrying nine perfume bottles, valued at 1,797 euros, stolen from a nearby shop. The pair was arrested for theft.
Concurrently, around the same time, another man was arrested by the Girona Municipal Police while attempting to steal seven perfumes from a store, hidden under his shirt. The value of this merchandise was 943 euros.
The following day, August 18th, the Mossos again identified the same couple arrested the previous day. Officers observed them acting suspiciously in the Calvet i Rubalcaba square area and later entering a vehicle with a third individual. Police investigations revealed this third man was the person arrested the day before by the Municipal Police.
During the vehicle search, 11 more perfume bottles were found, stolen from another establishment in Girona. The value of these items amounted to 1,522 euros. Consequently, the Mossos proceeded to arrest all three individuals again for another theft offense.
In total, the value of the goods allegedly stolen in these incidents amounts to 4,262 euros. The three arrestees, who have previous convictions for similar crimes, have been brought before the duty investigating court in Girona.
