The incident occurred around 5:00 PM, when the individual entered the establishment with his face covered. According to the investigation, he threatened the pharmacist with a firearm to demand cash and anxiolytic medication.
The thief fled the premises through the back, taking the cash register drawer and several drugs. Initial police inquiries suggested the perpetrator might have escaped in a black vehicle with covered license plates, which was later located in Sant Antoni Square in Salt thanks to citizen cooperation.
The arrest took place on August 13, when officers responded to a domestic dispute call at a home in Vilablareix. Upon identifying those present, they confirmed that one of the individuals was the person wanted for the robbery.
The detainee, who has a criminal record, was brought before the duty court in Girona on August 15.
