The Youth Area of the Gironès Regional Council has prepared the 2026 summer campaign, aiming to provide leisure activities that foster adventure, friendship, and memorable experiences among the region's youth. This initiative follows the success of previous editions.
Among the proposals, the colonies for young people in 1st and 2nd year of ESO (born in 2012 and 2013) stand out, celebrating their fourth consecutive year. These will take place from June 25 to 27 at Casa La Traüna, focusing on coexistence and contact with nature. The cost varies between €25 and €50, adjusted according to family income.
Additionally, the camp-plus-colonies format for young people in 3rd and 4th year of ESO (born in 2010 and 2011) is being repeated, following last year's positive reception. The camp will be held in Sarrià de Ter from June 29 to July 7, followed by the colonies in l'Escala from July 8 to 10. The price for this option ranges from €50 to €75, also depending on income.
For young people between 1st and 4th year of ESO (born between 2010 and 2013), three camps are offered during July (from July 1 to 30) in Campllong, Flaçà, and Cervià de Ter. It should be noted that places for the Flaçà camp are already sold out, but there is still availability in Cervià de Ter. These camps include pool access, special weekly activities, and an overnight bivouac at the facilities, a new feature this year. The price for these camps ranges from €55 to €110, depending on family income.
Interested families have until Friday, May 15, to formalize pre-registration through the official website, providing a unique opportunity for young people to enjoy a different summer close to home.
