Negotiations between the Girona-based club and the guard born in Bescanó have advanced significantly, and the agreement is expected to be officially announced soon. This will be the first time Casas plays at home, in Fontajau.
The player, 33 years old and 1.78 meters tall, joins from Valencia, where she was a key figure and captain. Her career includes international experience with teams such as Galatasaray, Nantes, Landes, Carolo, and Sopron, as well as a brief stint in the WNBA with the Minnesota Lynx.
With an impressive record including four League titles, two Queen's Cups, three Spanish Super Cups, one EuroCup, and one European Super Cup with Valencia, Casas is poised to be one of the most significant additions for Roberto Íñiguez's team next season.
