During an event held on Tuesday evening in Girona, the party ratified Gemma Geis after she emerged as the sole candidate in the internal selection process. The ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials, including General Secretary Jordi Turull.
Geis, who currently serves as Vice-Mayor, emphasized her commitment to a city model focused on innovation, security, and the promotion of the Catalan language. She stated that the upcoming elections will be a turning point for the city's future.

The party has now launched its pre-campaign committee to prepare for the 2027 elections, aiming to strengthen its presence in the Gironès region and secure the leadership of the provincial capital.
