The event, promoted by Dipsalut and the IDIBGI, brought together healthcare professionals and institutional representatives to highlight the clinical research being carried out in the region. The meeting served to showcase initiatives aimed at improving patient care through translational research.
During the session, three scholarships from the Talent Gironí program were awarded, an initiative that allows healthcare professionals to combine their clinical work with a research career. In addition, eight research projects from regional hospitals, including those in Blanes-Calella, Figueres, Olot, and Palamós, were recognized.
One of the highlights noted by the organizers was the increase in female representation among the awardees, which reached 80% in this edition. These figures exceed the national average and establish the region's researchers as leaders in their respective fields.
