The Government of Catalonia will implement a new integrated fare system in Girona and Terres de l'Ebre starting Monday, March 2, to streamline regional travel.

In Girona, the first phase focuses on road transport, enabling passengers to use ATM Girona tickets on any intercity bus line. Minister Silvia Paneque emphasized the benefit for over 400,000 residents.

"We are transforming Girona's mobility into a single zone that benefits more than 400,000 people."

Meanwhile, Terres de l'Ebre will join the ATM Camp de Tarragona system. Key benefits include free travel for minors via the T-16 card and significant savings for those under 30 using the T-Jove.
Mobility Secretary Manel Nadal noted that this completes a process started in 1997, finally integrating a region that had previously been excluded from the unified fare network.
