The Girona Campsite Association hosted its inaugural job fair this Wednesday at the UdG Science and Technology Park, where nearly 300 participants applied for positions.

Around thirty associated campsites offered approximately 100 jobs in sectors such as reception, maintenance, and entertainment. The initiative aims to address the increasing need for qualified staff in Girona as the high season approaches.

"Campsites need to expand their workforces, as they are open an average of 215 days a year."

This recruitment drive follows a record-breaking 2025, with over 9.7 million overnight stays recorded in the province. The 5.4% increase in tourism activity highlights the sector's role as a major employer in the region.
