The real estate market in Girona ended 2025 with a 3.34% increase in rental prices, reaching an average of 823.52 euros per month, despite a sharp decline in new rental agreements.

Data from the Girona Association of Real Estate Agents (API) reveals a concerning trend across the province: average prices rose by 2.18%, while the number of signed contracts plummeted by nearly 11%.
The coastal town of Tossa de Mar saw the highest spike, with rents jumping 16.2% to an average of 703.75 euros. In Girona city, although prices rose, contract volume fell by 9.5%.

"The drop in contracts confirms a trend from recent years and highlights the lack of available housing."
