A neighborhood organization, comprising 38 presidents and representatives from communities around Emili Grahit street in Girona, has formalized its opposition to the proposed new concert venue. The coordination meeting took place at the Veterinary College of Girona, one of the buildings adjacent to the controversial site.

The residents have agreed to launch a signature collection and provide an objection template for communities to formally register with the Girona City Council. In a joint statement, they emphasize that the discussion should extend beyond the venue's internal technical conditions to address the external impact on residents' rest and coexistence.

The project was temporarily halted after the Girona council suspended the administrative process due to technical deficiencies. However, the council left open the possibility for the project's proponents to submit new documentation. In light of this, the residents' representatives deem it crucial to act proactively and in a coordinated manner.

The objections will raise urban planning issues, concerns about the activity's feasibility, and its compatibility with the predominantly residential environment. Emphasis will be placed on rigorously assessing the parking, mobility, and coexistence demands associated with such a recreational activity in a primarily residential area.
